Playroom Update and New Dress-up Wardrobe Rack!

My girls LOVE to dress up and we have collected a lot of dresses so I have been meaning to come up with a better display and storage solution. First off, Russell is a web developer, he is not a carpenter, crafter, DIY-er … So I am giving him a lot of credit for helping my vision come to life and to take on this project for us! It all started with the 2 wooden shoe shelves at the bottom, they were originally made by my Dad and I took them out of our hall closet when I updated that space. My father-in-law provided the rest of the nuts, bolts, and wooden pieces from his scrap collection to make the rod and X-frame! (That means no trips to Home Depot!) I love they way it turned out and I love the collaboration and connection to all 3 men! It really fits the space well, it gets the dresses up and off the floor, and it goes great with the other storage shelves in the playroom! The girls are loving it, we have storage space to spare (more coming this Christmas, shhhh don’t tell them!) and they have been putting on so many fashion shows for us!
